Bugatti Veyron Amazing Gallery and Specs

The Bugatti EB Veyron 16.4 is a mid-engine car produced by Bugatti headquarters in Château St Jean in Molsheim (Alsace, France). It is the name of the French pilot Pierre Veyron, who won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1939 while racing for Bugatti. 200 examples of the Veyron is known have been built and delivered since production began.

There will be a total of 300 built. All editions support Veyron 300 under construction. Issues that contribute Veyron, Veyron 16.4 While Sang, Hermes Edition, Black Blood, Targa, Winning cenet and blue. It is replaced by the Grand Sport, which is essentially a convertible Veyron.

Winner of the Top Gear Season 10 DVDs Announced

Winner of the Top Gear Season 10 DVDs Announced Two weeks ago we started a contest for readers of Automoblog.net to win two copies of the new Top Gear Season 10 on DVD. All they had to do was come up with the best and most creative new challenge for the Top Gear guys to do. The best two entries win.

We got some really good ideas, and it was hard for us to choose just one winner, but here they are:

Samantha:

Being the way that the economy is, I would like to see Top Gear save some money and get some ‘not so good’ cars off the road. What the three hosts, and possibly the Stig as well, should be given 500 punds each to purchase a older car and enter into a demolition derby. It would Give Mr. May some retaliation towards the other two presenters. It is not about speed but who has purchased the best car and can last the longest. And it would make some good television.

Stewart:

I want to seem them take normal town cars and strip them down (even the engine) to see which is the best car to “Flintstone” around town.

I will be contacting the winners via email to have their DVDs sent to their home.

From Land’s End to John O’ Groats via Citroen 2CVs?

Can any of the hosts make it through a slalom quicker than The Stig; the hosts drive forwards & The Stig drives backwards?

Can they make it from London to Edinburgh in a Bugatti Veyron quicker than a commuter airline flight?

Who’s quicker doing a lap of the ‘Ring in Forza Motorsports, the hosts, The Stig, or some British kid?

I especially like the last one!

Will:

How about actually designing a car? Get all the hosts together, along with the Stig, and have them each design their own car. Have it custom made, and then see who’s car is the fastest around the Top Gear track. Their constantly critiquing cars, so let’s see how they do when given the chance to make their own.

Win a Copy of Top Gear Season 10 on DVD By now, I’m sure you’ve all seen an episode of the insanely popular British car show, Top Gear. If not, go record an episode on your DVR now, or check out the Top Gear Youtube Channel.

For the rest of us, BBC has just released Top Gear Season 10 on DVD, and we have four copies to give out! Keep reading for details.

If you recall, in Season 10 Jeremy and the boys crossed the English Channel in their own amphibious cars, raced a jet fighter in a Bugatti Veyron, drove across the Kalahari Desert in 20-year-old clunkers, raced motorhomes, drove the world’s smallest car, drove the amazing Caparo T1 street/F1 car, and quite a bit more. They also showcased some excellent cars such as the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Audi R8 and RS4, Rolls Royce Drophead, Ferrari 599 & 430 Scuderia, Lamborghini Reventon, and more.

Bugatti Veyron 16.4: Four New 'Centenaire' Special Edition Models

Continuing its centenary celebrations, Bugatti presented four special edition Veyrons at this weekend's Concorso d'Eleganza in Italy. These one off models pay homage to Bugatti's Type 35 Grand Prix racing car that won almost 2,000 races between 1924 and 1934. Each of the four Veyron Specials is named after a Bugatti race-car driver of the 1920s and 30s, and bears the racing colors of their respective country.

The blue Veyron is dedicated to Jean-Pierre Wimille (1908-1949)from France, the red model pays tribute to Achille Varzi (1904-1948) from Italy, the green to Malcolm Campbell (1885-1949) from England and the white Veyron to Hermann zu Leiningen (1901-1971) from Germany.

Colors scheme aside, all four special edition Veyrons come with polished aluminum doors, front fenders and exterior mirrors, plus unique eight-spoke alloy wheels and aluminum front grille and air vents. Inside the 'Centenaire' Veyrons feature special materials and colors along with a commemorative plate.

"We have put a lot of effort into translating colour and material, the defining characteristics of our historic role models, into the designs of the modern-day Veyrons," said Alasdair Stewart, Director Sales & Marketing at Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. "We have taken extreme care to match the original colours of the original race cars, exterior and interior."
